Say: 'My worshipers who believe, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good and the earth of Allah is wide; surely, those who are patient will be recompensed in full without count' 10 Say: "Verily, I am commanded to serve Allah with sincere devotion; 11 And I am commanded that I shall be the first of those who submit. 12 Say thou: verily I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, torment of a Day mighty. 13 Say thou: it is Allah I worship, making for Him my religion exclusive 14 So serve, apart from Him, whomsoever you please.” Say: “Behold, the real losers shall be those who will have lost their own selves and their kith and kin on the Day of Resurrection. Behold, that is the obvious loss. 15 They will have sheets of fire above them and sheets of fire beneath them." That is how God puts fear into the hearts of His servants. Fear me, then, My servants. 16 And those who put away false gods lest they should worship them and turn to Allah in repentance, for them there are glad tidings. Therefor give good tidings (O Muhammad) to My bondmen 17 who give ear to the Word and follow the fairest of it. Those are they whom God has guided; those -- they are men possessed of minds. 18 What! as for him then against whom the sentence of chastisement is due: What! can you save him who is in the fire? 19 But for those who fear their Lord, are the high chambers with more high chambers built above them – rivers flowing beneath them; a promise of Allah; Allah does not renege on His promise. 20 Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding. 21
