We have sent down to you the Book containing the truth, in whose light you should judge among the people as God has shown you, and do not be a contender for deceivers. 105 And beg thou forgiveness of Allah; verily Allah is ever Forgiving. 106 And argue not on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Verily, Allah does not like anyone who is a betrayer of his trust, and indulges in crime. 107 They can hide (their deeds) from men but they cannot hide (them) from Allah for He is with them even when they hold nightly counsels that are unpleasing to Allah. Allah encompasses all their doings. 108 Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative? 109 One who commits a sin or does wrong to himself and then seeks forgiveness from God, will find God All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110 for he who commits a sin, commits it only to his own hurt; and God is indeed all-knowing, wise. 111 He who commits a mistake or iniquity and ascribes it to one who is innocent, is guilty of calumny and brazen sin. 112
