Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 154 We shall certainly test you with fear and hunger, and loss of property, lives and crops. Give good news to those who endure with fortitude. 155 who, in adversity say: 'We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return' 156 upon those rest blessings and mercy from their Lord, and those -- they are the truly guided. 157 ۞ Surely the Safa and the Marwa are among the signs appointed by Allah; so whoever makes a pilgrimage to the House or pays a visit (to it), there is no blame on him if he goes round them both; and whoever does good spontaneously, then surely Allah is Grateful, Knowing. 158 Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Lo! Those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers; on them is the curse of Allah and of angels and of men combined. 161 They shall be abiders therein, the torment shall not be lightened on them, nor shall they be respited. 162 Your God is One God. There is no god except He. He is the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 163
