We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
