Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the guilty ones: 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
