Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
