It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
