Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
