And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 [every] withholder of good [and] sinful aggressor [and] fomentor of distrust [between man and man - everyone] 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
