The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? 35 What has come upon you that you judge in such a wise? 36 Or do you have a scripture in which you learn 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or do you have Our solemn oaths, binding upon Us till the Day of Resurrection, that you shall have whatever you yourselves decide? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Have they associate gods? Then let them produce their associate gods if they say sooth! 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused). 43 Leave those who reject the Quran to Me and I shall lead them step by step to destruction, without their being aware of it. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Is with them the unseen, so that they write down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 but [as it was,] his Sustainer had elected him and placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 But it is nothing other than a Reminder for all the worlds. 52
