Al-Insan 2 of 2
We have revealed the Qur'an to you gradually; 23 Therefore wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one. 24 And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening 25 and prostrate yourself before Him at night, and extol His Glory during the long watches of the night. 26 Indeed these people love what they have, the fleeting one, and have forsaken the immensely important day behind them. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; 30 He maketh whom He will to enter His mercy, and for evil-doers hath prepared a painful doom. 31
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
