۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 Neither darknesses and light, 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 Then I seized those who denied the Truth, and how terrible was My punishment! 26
