And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night.
