Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 “And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.” 165 we are they that give glory. 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
