Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
