AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 And [remember how] We called upon him from the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai and drew him near [unto Us] in mystic communion, 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 And We raised him high in Heaven. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded after them a succession who wasted the prayer, and followed lusts; so they shall encounter error 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth and of all that is between the two. So worship Him alone and be steadfast in His worship. Do you know of anyone equal to Him in His attributes? 65
