Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (in seeking a scourge against them). We are counting their days. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
