1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And make mention of Ishmael and Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. All are of the chosen. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
