Al-Talaaq 2 of 2

How many a town rebelled against the commands of its Lord and His messengers and We called them sternly to account and punished them severely, 8 So they tasted the pain of their actions; and the consequence of their deeds was ruin. 9 God has prepared severe retribution for them. People of understanding and believers, have fear of God. God has certainly sent you a reminder, 10 A messenger reciting unto you the revelations of Allah made plain, that He may bring forth those who believe and do good works from darkness unto light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him. 11 Allah is He Who created seven Firmaments and of the earth a similar number. Through the midst of them (all) descends His Command: that ye may know that Allah has power over all things, and that Allah comprehends, all things in (His) Knowledge. 12

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Divorce (Al-Talaaq). Sent down in Medina after The Human (Al-Insan) before Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
