Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 Into the boiling water; then into the Fire they will be stocked. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
