Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
