In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
