The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
