Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
