Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. 78 And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; maybe your Lord will raise you to a position of great glory. 79 And say: 'My Lord, lead me in with a just ingoing, and lead me out with a just outgoing; grant me authority from Thee, to help me.' 80 And say: "Truth has come and falsehood nullified." Verily falsehood is perishable. 81 And We send down in the Qur’an that which is a cure for the Muslims, and a mercy – and it increases only ruin for the unjust. 82 Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair! 83 Proclaim, “Each one works according to his own pattern; and your Lord well knows him who is more upon guidance.” 84
