The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
