ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
