They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 with neither crookedness nor any curving to be seen therein' 107 That Day they shall follow the caller for whom there shall be no crookedness; and voices shall be humbled for the Compassionate; so that thou shalt not hear ought except pattering 108 On that Day intercession shall not avail save of him whom the Most Compassionate Lord permits, and whose word of intercession is pleasing to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they do not comprehend Him in knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 but he who does good works, being a believer, shall fear no harm nor any injustice." 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 Therefore Supreme is Allah, the True King; and do not hasten in the Qur’an (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) until its divine revelation has been completed to you; and pray, “My Lord, bestow me more knowledge.” 114 We had commanded Adam (certain matters). He forgot Our commandment and We did not find in him the determination to fulfil Our commandments. 115
