And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly, 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Verily these! they say: 34 'There is nothing except the first death, we shall never be revived. 35 So then, bring forth our forefathers [as witnesses,] if what you claim is true!" 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
