So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 Thamud, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
