In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 abasing, exalting, 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 Gushing water, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 And made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
