No! By the moon 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
