The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the night when it covers the day, 1 And the day when it shines in brightness, 2 and by that (Power) which created the male and female, 3 O men, you truly strive towards the most diverse ends! 4 As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah and fears Him, 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 So We will very soon provide him hardship. 10 And what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction). 11 Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance 12 And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world). 13 Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; 14 Which only the most wretched must endure, 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 But those most devoted to Allah shall be removed far from it,- 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded, 19 but only to seek the good pleasure of his Lord Most High. 20 He will surely be well-pleased (with him). 21
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
