The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
