In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 A revelation from the Beneficent, the Merciful, 2 A Book of which the verses are made plain, an Arabic Quran for a people who know: 3 Announcing happy news and warnings. And yet most of them are averse and do not listen, 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Say thou: I am only a human being like unto you; only it is revealed unto me that your God is but One God, wherefore take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe be unto the associators. 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 Verily those who believe and work righteous works - unto them shall be a hire unceasing. 8
