The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
O you (Muhammad SAW) enveloped (in garments)! 1 arise and warn, 2 And proclaim the Purity of your Lord. 3 And keep your clothes clean. 4 And uncleanness do shun, 5 Give not, thinking to gain greater 6 but unto thy Sustainer turn in patience. 7 When the trumpet is sounded,. 8 that day will be a harsh day, 9 not an easy day for the unbelievers. 10 Leave Me and him whom I created alone, 11 And gave him abundant wealth 12 And sons dwelling in his presence, 13 And made (life) smooth for him. 14 and who still desires more. 15 By no means; he is stubbornly opposed to Our Signs. 16 I shall force him to endure a painful uphill climb! 17 Indeed he thought, and inwardly decided. 18 and woe to him; how he plotted! 19 Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. 20 Then he beheld, 21 frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 It is nothing but the word of a mortal' 25 I shall surely roast him in Sakar; 26 And what will make you know exactly what Hell-fire is? 27 It neither spares, nor releases, 28 and it burns the flesh. 29 Over it are appointed nineteen. 30 And We have not made the keepers of the Fire except angels. And We have not made their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve - that those who were given the Scripture will be convinced and those who have believed will increase in faith and those who were given the Scripture and the believers will not doubt and that those in whose hearts is hypocrisy and the disbelievers will say, "What does Allah intend by this as an example?" Thus does Allah leave astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except Him. And mention of the Fire is not but a reminder to humanity. 31
