The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
