▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 For all that they used to do. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
