The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
