The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
