And warn them of the Day whereon the enemies of Allah will be gathered unto the Fire; and they will be set in bands. 19 To the extent that when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins will testify against them for what they used to do. 20 And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return." 21 When you used to conceal yourselves (while committing misdeeds) you never thought that your ears or your eyes or your skins would ever bear witness against you; you rather fancied that Allah does not know a great deal of what you do. 22 And that thought of yours which you thought about your Lord, has brought you to destruction, and you have become (this Day) of those utterly lost! 23 And then, [even] if they endure [their lot] in patience, the fire will still be their abode; and if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so: 24 ۞ And We assigned them comrades (in the world), who made their present and their past fairseeming unto them. And the Word concerning nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before them hath effect for them. Lo! they were ever losers. 25
