And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 As for those who disbelieved, I shall punish them with a terrible chastisement in this world and in the Next; and they shall find none to help them. 56 “And for those who believed and did good deeds, Allah will give them their full reward; and Allah does not like the unjust.” 57 This which we recite unto thee is of the signs and of the wise admonition. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 The truth is from your Lord, therefore, do not be among the doubters. 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 Lo! This verily is the true narrative. There is no Allah save Allah, and lo! Allah, He verily is, is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 If they turn away, Allah knows the evildoers. 63
