No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning for people -- 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
