The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
