ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
