▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
