Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Divorce (Al-Talaaq) before Exodus (Al-Hashr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- 1 An apostle from Allah rehearsing Writs cleansed. 2 Wherein are laws (or decrees) right and straight. 3 Those who were given the Book did not become divided except after clear evidence was given to them. 4 They were only commanded to worship God, be uprightly devoted to His religion, steadfast in prayer and pay the zakat. This is truly the eternal religion. 5 Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 Indeed those who accepted faith and did good deeds – it is they who are the best among the creation. 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
