Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 So neither you nor those you worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 We glorify God." 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 But then, once it alights upon them, hapless will be the awakening of those who were warned [to no avail]! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 and praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
