Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 Then shall it be said to them: "Where are the (deities) to which ye gave part-worship- 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 That is because you exulted in the land unjustly and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
