The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
